Midlife Moms Support Group
Social support is a foundational key to mental health as a mother.
Women’s Wellness Group of Dunwoody now offers a Midlife Moms Support Group in 4-session series, priced at $25 per session, requiring a total investment of $100 to participate. First cohort of 2025 meets 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19 from 1-2pm.
Who is this group for?
This group is designed for moms who began their motherhood journey in their mid-30s or moms with older children who have returned to parenting a young child in this different life stage.
Who can attend?
Both mothers, infants, and older children are welcome to attend this group. Older children are welcome to be in the background. You do not need child care to attend this group!
Where will we meet?
The first series of 2025 will meet virtually via Zoom on the following dates from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. First cohort of 2025 will run the following dates: 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link to join. After registering, you will be sent a link to attend via zoom. This group is new mom casual! Pajamas, sweats and snacks are welcome! We do encourage you to turn your camera on so that you can take full advantage of the group. Seeing people is a great way to feel more connected and build community for support.
What will we do?
The group’s leader Mary Beth Lyles, LPC, NCC will have a psychoeducational topic prepared for each session. That said, this group is about YOU and we will let the conversation go where you need it to.
What is the investment?
This group is a series of 4 sessions, priced at $25 per session requiring a total investment of $100. Payment covers participation in each of the scheduled dates. Please note that this fee is non-refundable, and missed sessions cannot be credited or reimbursed.
*This group is not a therapy group and will not provide individual therapy. If individual therapy is needed, please address this need with the group leader.
