Free Maternal Support Group
Social support is a foundational key to mental health as a mother.
Women’s Wellness Group of Dunwoody is excited to offer a FREE Maternal Support Group that runs the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 12-1 pm.
Who is this group for?
This group is ideal for mothers who are currently expecting and for those who have given birth within the past year. Those with older children (up to age 4) who need support are also welcome to attend.
Who can attend?
Both mothers, infants, and older children are welcome to attend this group. Please know that babies and children are welcome.
Where will we meet?
This group will meet virtually via Zoom on each month’s 2nd Wednesday. Once you register, you will be sent the link to attend via Zoom. Show up however you feel most comfortable. Pajamas and messy buns are welcome! We encourage you to show up with your camera turned on to take full advantage of the social networking and support this group can offer.
What will we do?
The group’s leader, Angie Seech, will have a psychoeducational topic selected for each group to review, but most of the hour will be spent focused on the needs of the group on any given day.
How long will we meet?
At each meeting, we will come together for 60 minutes of support, socialization, and psychoeducation.
Do I need anything to get started?
Nope, just show up. Oh, and tell your Mom friends about it!

*This group is not a therapy group and will not provide individual therapy. If individual therapy is needed, please address this need with the group leader.
How do I sign up?
Click here, and then click on Angie Seech’s picture. Then on the left, you will see “Free Support Group” and click to register. Zoom information will be automatically sent after registration.
