Hi! My name is Meagan R. Davies, and I am a National Certified Counselor and a licensed associate professional counselor.
I focus my work empowering women leaders to be the best version of themselves. Specifically, I enjoy working with women and the unique challenges they face trying to balance work, relationships, family, and professional obligations.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I had two successful careers, one in marketing, and a second as a nonprofit executive. The last 15 years of my career were spent in the “C” Suite coaching and developing hundreds of employees, with a focus on advancing female leaders.
I was also responsible for up $100 million in revenue annually. This experience uniquely qualifies me to work with men and women in leadership roles. Working together, I focus on your personal experience, needs and goals. My approach is both behavioral and strength-based.
In addition to working with leaders, I also love to work with women in the postpartum period particularly those suffering from anxiety and OCD. In these instances I use Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), considered the gold standard of treatment for anxiety and OCD.
I am a member of the American Counseling Association and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. In addition to education and memberships, I hold certifications in Change Management and Executive Leadership from Cornell University. I earned a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University. Currently I am secretary of the National Board of the AOII Foundation, a 2014 graduate of Leadership Atlanta, Program Chair of Leadership Atlanta Class of 2022, and on the Executive Committee of the Leadership Atlanta Board.
